08.00 AM: You will see and hear the sounds of morning village life and feel free to join some of the villagers’ activities such as feeding the animals, gardening or preparing breakfast.

After breakfast, you will start off the trekking route up to mountain linking Thon Tha and Khuoi My village. Along the way, our guide will tell you local stories and the Dao Ao Dai unique cultures which you can see in Khuoi My village – a homeland of around 200 Dao Ao Dai ethnic minority households, located in the foot of the highest mountain in Northeast Vietnam namely “Tay Con Linh” peak. You also have a chance to interact with locals and gain a deeper insight into their customs and culture. Enjoy lunch en route. Then save your energy to go trekking more on the way back.

08.00 AM: After your breakfast, we will say goodbye Thon Tha Village for the trip to Dong Van. During the drive, you will be amazed by the fascinating scenery of this route.

We will then stop at a famous viewpoint overlooking a Red Dao village which is Quan Ba Heaven Gate. The panorama is simply spectacular and fantastic with mountains encasing the rice terraced fields and a few scattered settlements.

Furthermore, you will take a walk to Fairy Mountain which is called "Nui Doi Co Tien" after a short drive. This attraction is well known for its incredible beauty and you will have a precious chance to take some amazing photos.

After your lunch en route, we will continue to Hmong Royal Palace which is the historical palace of the Vuong family who ruled over the region and controlled opium production and trade until 1945.

Continuing the trip to Lung Cu after a short drive of 2 hours. Lung Cu is not only the northernmost point of Vietnam but also it has long been a sacred image in the heart of every Vietnamese land.

The tour ultimately arrives in Dong Van where you can take your free time to explore the ancient street of Dong Van before having your dinner (arrange it yourself).

Quan Ba Heaven Gate is the first gateway to the global geological park of Dong Van stone plateau. The story behinds the name is in 1939, the French built a huge door made of 150cm thick wood at the gates of heaven. Today the gate is no longer and replaces with a sign in both Vietnamese and English words: "Cong Troi Quan Ba". Experience hemp weaving in Lung Tam village

 

Lung Tam village in Lung Tam Commune is tucked away under the foot of hills in Quan Ba District in Ha Giang Province. This village is known for its long-standing traditional craft of brocade weaving. The art of making linen fabric has been passing from generations to generations in Lung Tam. Visiting the village, you will see linen products everywhere: drying out in the sun, whirring on family looms, and also have a fascinating opportunity to get a better knowledge of how to make linen fabric, interact with Hmong women and try to weave hemp.

Immerse in the outstanding views of Nho Que River

 

Tucked away along the picturesque Dong Van Karst Plateau, the winding Nho Que River flows like green thread shimmering north from heaven. It runs along the border for 16.4 km then into Vietnam through Lung Cu Commune in Ha Giang into Gam River in Cao Bang Province. Visiting Nho Que River and simply taking a local boat to immerse in the splendid and terrific beauty of Nho Que River. Lung Khuy Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in the rocky plateau, is a masterpiece created by millennia of geological activities. This cave is around 300m in length with many different branches, magnificent stalactites and fancy shapes stimulating the imagination of travellers. Visiting the cave, you will have an amazing chance to walk along the earthen road for more than one kilometre and witness the outstanding scenery along the way; and when going inside the cave, stir your imagination and see plenty of beautiful stalactites in various shape and size.
